Recipe | Honey Garlic Chicken Kabob | Mettrum Originals

BBQ season has arrived, time to take the cover off the grill and toss on some healthy Honey Garlic Chicken Kabobs. Pair these succulent skewers with a crisp side salad or roasted new potatoes.

¼ cup Mettrum Originals™ Cold-Pressed Hemp Oil
¼ cup honey
¼ cup low sodium soy sauce
¼ tsp. fresh ground black pepper
2 cloves of garlic, pressed
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast, cut to 1inch cubes
1 large red onion
1 red bell pepper
1 yellow bell pepper
1 green bell pepper
Wooden Skewers
Lemon wedges for serving
In a large bowl, whisk together hemp oil, honey, soy sauce, garlic and ground pepper.
Put ¼ cup of marinade aside to baste chicken with during cooking.  
Cut peppers and onions into 2 inch squares.
Cut chicken breasts into 1 inch squares.
Place chicken, peppers and onions in a sealed container with your marinade and let rest for 2 hours.
Drain marinade and add the chicken and vegetables to your skewers.
Preheat your grill on high and apply a light coat of oil.  
Turn skewers frequently, brushing them with additional marinade.
Cook for approximately 15 minutes, until chicken juices run clear.
