It’s National Pancake Day and we’re celebrating with Mettrum Originals Mmedibles High Protein Pancake Mix.
These great pancakes are packed full of essential nutrients, protein and fibre.
I personally love topping my pancakes with fresh fruit. Today we’ve added blueberries, walnuts, figs, physalis and chocolate covered raisins for a little added flair.
For the maple syrup fans in my family I added a small fruit salad topped with our Raw Shelled Hemp Seeds.
This meal is quick and easy to prepare with little clean up and will scored major points with your family.
- ½ cup Mettrum Originals Mmedibles High Protein Pancake Mix
- 1 tbsp melted butter or oil of your choice
- ½ cup water
- 1 cup fruit and nut mixture of your choice
Preheat griddle (if electric, set at 200 degrees C or 400 degrees F)
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl and beat well until batter forms
Pour batter into hot, lightly greased griddle.
Flip pancakes when bubbles form on top and the edges look light brown
