Whomever said you don’t make friends with salad hasn’t tried this recipe yet! We can enjoy it for breakfast, as a mid day snack, dessert and it can be paired with practically any meal. Loved by adults and children alike, we decided to share our favorite fruit salad recipe for you to enjoy.
Topping this salad today we have Mettrum Originals Hemp Break Bars and a flavor rich Raspberry Vinaigrette Dressing from Wellness Mama. The combination adds a pleasant texture, crunch and tang that helps mellow out the sweetness of the fruit.
- ½ cup fresh chopped Strawberries
- 1 Kiwi sliced and quartered
- 2 tablespoons almonds, slivered
- 1 Hemp Break bar (Hemp & Quinoa) broken into pieces
- 3 – 5 Mint leaves, whole or diced.
- ½ cup white wine or balsamic vinegar
- ¼ cup olive oil
- ¼ cup fresh or frozen raspberries
- 2 teaspoons honey
Combine the fruit, almonds, mint leaves and gently mix. Sprinkle the Hemp break bar pieces over the combined mixture. The dressing itself can be enjoyed multiple ways. The consistency is thick and creamy, try pouring the dressing into a bowl so that you can dip your fruit into the mixture, or drizzle it over the top to saturating the salad. Both will achieve tasty results.
