Welcome back for our second edition of Mettrum Originals Smoothie Sunday! Today we are tasting the fusion of mangos and hemp. This unlikely pair is actually quite delicious and refreshing, perfect for after your morning workout or for whipping up before you head into the office.
As you’ll recall from last week, we are following Martha Stewart's list of "Top 10 Pinned Smoothies". We never shy away from a good smoothie; we do however add in some healthy ingredients to boost the nutritional value.
Top 10 Pinned Smoothies #2. We upped the protein, omega, calcium and iron content of this smoothie by adding in Mettrum Originals Raw Hemp Protein & Fibre Powder and topped it with our Raw Shelled Hemp Seeds.
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 ½ cup low- fat plain yogurt
- 2 ½ cups mango chunks
- 1 tbsp raw honey
- 1 tsp Mettrum Originals Raw Shelled Hemp Seeds
- juice from half a lime
- 1 30g scoop of Mettrum Originals Raw Hemp Protein & Fibre Powder
Combine all ingredients except the hemp seeds and blend until smooth. Sprinkle the hemp seeds on top.
