Smoothie Sunday has arrived and today we are featuring a classic Banana Coconut Hemp Seed Smoothie. Coconut, bananas and hemp seeds are all known to improve digestive health and deliver a boost of energy, making this the perfect smoothie to add into your morning routine.

This mood boosting smoothie is packed full of vitamins, omegas and essential amino acids. We’ve added Mettrum Originals Raw Shelled Hemp Seeds to this deliciously relaxing blend. If you’re working on increasing your protein intake, add in a 30g scoop of our Raw Hemp Protein and Fibre Powder.   

Ingredients:
2 ripe bananas, chopped
1 cup coconut milk
1 cup skim milk
½ cup of plain Greek yogurt
2 teaspoons honey
1 tablespoon Mettrum Originals Raw Shelled Hemp Seeds
1/3 cup crushed ice (optional)
 
Instructions:
Combine coconut milk, skim milk, honey, Greek yogurt, ½ tbsp. hemp seeds and ice in a blender and blend until combine. Add in the chopped bananas and blend until smooth. Pour into a glass and add ½ tbsp. of hemp seeds on top.
