To celebrate this holiday, we’re serving up tender, succulent lamb chops basted in a savoury Garlic Rosemary Hemp Marinade.
Lamb is one of the most served Easter dishes across North America, however, this easy to prepare marinade is just as good on chicken or in a pasta dish. Replacing regular oil with Mettrum Originals Cold-Pressed Hemp Oil is an easy way to enhance the flavour pallet and increase the nutritional value of your favourite meals.
1 garlic clove, pressed
1 ½ tsp. fresh rosemary, chopped
½ tsp. fresh thyme. Chopped
1 tsp. lemon zest, finely chopped
2 tbsp. Mettrum Originals Cold-Pressed Hemp Oil
4 lamb chops, about ¾ inch thick.
Preheat the broiler
In a small bowl stir together the pressed garlic, rosemary, thyme, lemon zest, hemp oil and pepper to taste.
Massage the marinade into the lamb chops.
Let them marinate for a minimum of 30 minutes.
For medium rare meat, broil the lamb chops about 4 inches form the heat for 4 to 5 minutes on each side.
