It’s the beginning of a new school year and we are all looking for quick and easy breakfast ideas that our kids will enjoy, while giving them enough energy to make it through their day.
Our Berry Hemp and Pecan Parfait is loaded with protein, essential fatty acids and vitamin C. The addition of honey to the oat mixture gives it the perfect amount of delectable sweetness, while avoiding refined sugars. Mix it up by incorporating different yogurt flavours and fruit combinations.
¼ cup of your kid’s favourite fruit. We’ve used Strawberries, raspberries & blueberries
1 Tbsp. pecans
1 Tsp. honey
2 Tbsp. Mettrum Originals Raw Shelled Hemp Seeds
¼ cup rolled oats
½ cup vanilla greek yogurt
In a small bowl, mix together honey, rolled oats and 1 tbsp. hemp seeds.
Add in ¾ of your mixed fruit and walnuts, then spoon into a service bowl.
Add greek yogurt, then top with additional fruit, walnuts, and hemp seeds.
