Eating healthy while living a busy and active life can be a difficult task. So often we eat what’s convenient, over what is nutritious. How do we solve this problem? We make delicious hemp-infused energy bars!
Our Chocolate Walnut Energy Bars can be prepped in under 15 minutes and are the perfect “grab-n-go” snack. Nutrient dense, these bars can be used as a meal replacement in a pinch.
We’ve used Mettrum Originals Raw Shelled Hemp Seeds to increase the protein and vitamin content of these yummy energy bars!
2 cups moist medjool dates, pitted and chopped.
2 cups walnuts, crushed.
¼ cup Mettrum Originals Raw Shelled Hemp Seeds.
¾ cup cocoa powder
2 tbsp. vanilla
2 tbsp. cold water
Line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
Combine chopped walnuts, hemp seeds, dates and cocoa powder in a food processor.
Pulse the blades until the ingredients are coarse
Add vanilla and water and quickly pulse the blade until dough is formed.
Scrape dough in to the loaf pan.
Using a spatula, press down until mixture is even.
Chill for an hour, cut in to bars and enjoy!
